I am currently a tenured Assistant Professor (UD1) in Visual Computing in the Department of Information and Computing Sciences at Utrecht University, the Netherlands.
Before joining Utrecht University, I was a postdoctoral researcher in Computer Science at Northwestern University, USA, until March 2024.
I received my PhD in Computer and Information Science from Linnaeus University, Sweden, in February 2023.
Earlier, I earned my BSc and MSc in Informatics and Telecommunications Engineering from the University of Western Macedonia, Greece, in November 2017.
My research lies at the intersection of visual analytics, explainable artificial intelligence (XAI), and trustworthy machine learning. I develop visual and interactive methods for exploring the inner workings, behavior, and quality of machine learning models, with the aim of making complex models more understandable, explainable, and reliable. More broadly, I am interested in supporting human understanding and informed trust in machine learning models and their predictions.
